Welcome to Sma’ Hame!
Grange of Conon is my family farm, where I grew up with my parents and sister running around the countryside. I left home at the age of 18 to work in a hotel and then headed to Strathmore Golf Centre, before returning to the farm with my husband Graeme in 1997.
We have brought up our own children on the farm, both of whom loved to horse ride and spend time outdoors but have recently fled the nest to take on their own adventures.
Life on the farm is never dull, you could find me lambing sheep or driving a tractor one minute and changing bed sheets the next! Previously my mum used to run a successful Bed & Breakfast here, and looking back I used to love hearing the tales of what visitors had found on their travels.
I am hugely proud of our local area, it really is the hidden gem of Scotland. From Coast to Glen and everything else in between, Angus really has some unique places to explore. The added bonus is that at most times of the year you can avoid the tourist crowds you would typically find in the Highlands. Plus we don’t have the midgie problem of the west coast!
We have some sample itineraries outlined here, but please just drop us a message as we’d love to help you plan a trip that you’ll treasure forever.
